Americas Cardroom’s “Run it Twice” feature aims to reduce the stress and variance associated with going all-in during a significant pot. Players can split one hand into two separate hands, each worth half of the pot.
Here’s how it works:
- A player goes all-in.
- The other player has the option to click the “Run it Twice” button.
- Both players have to agree to Run it Twice.
- Two distinct hands are created, and each is worth half of the pot.
Specific logistics:
Players can click the Run it Twice button at any time.
If the all-in occurs preflop, two totally different hands will hit the felt.
If the “Run it Twice” option is chosen after the flop, the second hand created will have an identical flop to the first hand, but different turn and river cards.
Each hand is valued at half of the pot.
