Americas Cardroom implemented a software update in 2021 to prevent players from accessing the poker client while running prohibited External Assistance Tools (EATs). This update is designed to ensure that poker players do not have an unfair advantage by using banned software.
We’re cracking down on cheaters
The software exclusion feature is integrated directly into the poker client, and all players are prohibited from using EATs on Americas Cardroom.
If a player encounters issues when trying to open the software client, it is recommended to close any offending programs and attempt to launch the poker client again.
Americas Cardroom does not disclose a specific list of banned External Assistance Tools; however, more details can be found in Section 4 of our Security and Game Integrity Policy at (insert link).
