Americas Cardroom has implemented a feature called Player Protection to shield players from others who may be targeting weaker opponents in cash games.
With Player Protection enabled, you won’t be able to see the identities of your opponents until you have joined the table and paid a big blind. This feature is universal across all cash games on Americas Cardroom and cannot be turned off.
Here is how it works
When you access a cash game table, you will be notified that you cannot view the other players’ names until you have paid to play. There will be an option to disable this notification for future games, but Player Protection will remain active regardless.
