Americas Cardroom wants you to be the Next Moneymaker and will be sending one lucky player to Las Vegas this summer!
How It Works
Every Saturday at 1:30 PM ET, Americas Cardroom hosts the $86 buy-in ‘Leaderboard Tournaments’. The prize pool from these tournaments will be allocated in this way:
- 50% will be paid out to the top 12% of participants in each Leaderboard Tournament.
- The other 50% will accumulate to form the prize pool for the Final Tournament.
Prize Info
- During each weekly Leaderboard Tournament, you get a shot at winning half of the prize pool.
- Battle it out in the Final Tournament for a minimum prize pool of $500,000, with the 1st place winner guaranteed at least $100,000.
- The winner of the Final Tournament will also receive $15,000 for an all-expenses-paid trip to Las Vegas, separate from the prize pool!
Qualifying For The Final Tournament
- Accumulating points in Leaderboard Tournaments is your ticket to the Final Tournament.
- THERE ARE NO DIRECT BUY-INS.
- Points you earn from the Leaderboard Tournaments add up. You gain points for both taking part and succeeding in Leaderboard Tournaments.
- Once the Leaderboard Tournaments are finished, the points you’ve earned convert to chips for the Final Tournament. 1 point equals 1 chip.
- The more points you rack up during the Leaderboard Tournaments, the more chips you begin with in the Final Tournament.
Earning Leaderboard Points
- Each time you play a Leaderboard Tournament, you earn 2,000 points. Re-entering a tournament doesn’t earn you extra points.
- You get 10,000 bonus points if you participate in all the Leaderboard Tournaments.
- The Top 24 Players in each weekly tournament receive points based on their overall finish as follows:

$1,000,000 Prize Pool Distribution Info
The prize pool for the Final Tournament is determined by the entries in the Leaderboard Tournaments. Despite the outcome, the Final Tournament will always have a $1 Million guaranteed prize pool.
For example, if a Leaderboard Tournament has a $50,000 prize pool, $25,000 is allocated to player winnings, and $25,000 is added to the Final Tournament prize pool.
When 13 Leaderboard Tournaments generate $50,000 each, the total prize pool amounts to $650,000. Half goes to the players, with the other half boosting the Final Tournament pool. To ensure the $1 Million pool, Americas Cardroom will add the remaining $350,000.
Here’s another scenario where the Leaderboard Tourneys generate $100,000:
13 Leaderboard Tournaments x $100,000 = $1.3 Million. Here, players earn $650,000, and the remaining $650,000 forms the prize pool for the Final Tournament.
Final Tournament Rewards
The champion of the Final Tournament will bag $100,000 from the prize pool, while the top 12% of participants will split the remaining amount. This means that the 1st place winner will receive their usual tournament payout plus an extra $100,000 and a $15,000 package for a Las Vegas trip. It’s going to be exciting to see who comes out on top, but one thing is clear: someone’s day is about to get a whole lot better!
Additional Tips
- Play = Points! Even if you don’t win a Leaderboard Tournament, playing weekly can still get you 36,000 chips to start the Final Tournament.
- Play at least once! Just entering one tournament will earn you 2,000 points, regardless of your finish.
