The Beast

Embrace the Challenge, Every Week.

The Beast is the world’s first progressive points race, transforming player rewards.

At Americas Cardroom, we’re covering the cost of this promotion. No additional fees for you!

How It Works

  • Every cash table joins in The Beast, so you’re automatically entered.
  • This promotion is sponsored by Americas Cardroom, funded by the rake.
  • Points are based on stake levels, independent of your win/loss record.
  • You earn a point for every $0.02 contributed to The Beast using the Weighted Contributed Rake method. (Refer to the Earning Points section)
  • Win enormous prizes each week. Tens of millions of dollars distributed since inception.
  • The weekly race starts Saturday at 00:00 ET and ends the following Friday at 23:59 ET.
  • Prizes are disbursed every Monday.

The objective is straightforward—play cash games weekly, climb the leaderboard, and claim your share of cash and tournament tickets, increasing your winning potential! Tournaments take place the Sunday after your cash prize distribution.

Track Your Progress

Part of the thrill is tracking your progress, so log in regularly to check your standings. Head to Rewards in the poker client lobby, then The Beast. View your points and tournament entry prizes, including start dates and prize pool details. Rankings are frequently updated, so keep an eye on them!

Earning Points

Earning points at Americas Cardroom is simple. Sit at a cash table and contribute to the rake, and you’ll automatically start earning points for The Beast leaderboard. You’ll continue to earn one point for every $0.02 in rake. Keep playing to boost your score.

How It Works

Consider a typical scenario at a 9-handed cash-game table. Everyone folds except for four players (1, 2, 3, 4), each paying $1 to see a flop.

Player 1 goes all-in on the flop for another $50. Player 2 folds. Player 3 folds. Player 4 calls the $50. The pot now totals $104.

A $3 rake is taken from the pot once it’s completed ($2.76 as net rake and $0.24 to The Beast).

Even though more players started the hand, only four contributed to the rake, earning points toward The Beast leaderboard. The more rake you contribute, the more points you gain:

  • Player 1 earns 5.25 Points
  • Player 2 earns 0.75 Points
  • Player 3 earns 0.75 Points
  • Player 4 earns 5.25 Points

The Beast Feeds on Rake

Forget about jackpot fees. Americas Cardroom funds the weekly prize pools for The Beast from the rake. Here’s how we sustain The Beast at no additional cost to you:

Payouts

Weekly Cash Race

The mission is clear: accumulate points and climb The Beast leaderboard to win big prizes. The more points you earn, the higher you rise on the leaderboard.

Weekly Cash races occur every 7 days, starting on Saturday at 00:00 ET and ending on Friday at 23:59 ET. Each week presents a new opportunity to win cash and tournament prizes. Remember, as the prize pools grow, so does the number of players who get paid!

Payout Tiers For The Beast:

  • Tier 1: $500
  • Tier 2: $250
  • Tier 3: $125
  • Tier 4: $50

For every $3,500 in a cash prize pool, we add the following:

  • 1 Tier 1
  • 2 Tier 2
  • 5 Tier 3
  • 20 Tier 4
  • Reseed the next race with $875

Residual funds (between increments of $3,500) are applied to the top places in Tier 2, Tier 3, and Tier 4. Respective cap amounts will be maintained.

Weekly Tournament Race

The Beast is always hungry, and so are you. That’s why our weekly race award seats in satellite tournaments for major events like the Venom, Vegas Main Event, and more. As the prize pools grow, more players win seats!

Weekly race winners will play their satellite tournament two Sundays after the weekly race ends. You will be automatically registered, and you can check the Rewards tab (The Beast section) for more details.
