Because fun isn’t just for Cash Game players!
Step into the world of Sit & Crush, where we elevate the excitement of tournament play to new heights and bring the competitive spirit of cash game rake races to tournament play. No longer is the fun reserved solely for cash game players. Sit & Crush introduces a fresh and inventive approach that simplifies earning rewards while enjoying your preferred Sit & Go, Jackpot Poker, or On Demand tourneys.
How To Take Part In Sit & Crush
- Sign up for any of our “Sit & Go”, “Jackpot Poker Games” or “On Demand” tourneys.
- Accumulate points by participating in any of the three game types mentioned above. Keep in mind that your tournament outcome does not affect your points earned or your leaderboard ranking.
- To monitor your progress, simply click on the “Sit & Crush” logo within your client lobby to view your position on the leaderboard. Additionally, you can review your points and access other essential details.
- Sit back, relax, and watch the money and tourney entries come to you.
Keep in mind that the more you play, the more points you accumulate, resulting in a higher ranking on the Sit & Crush leaderboard. Each week, top-ranking players will have the chance to win substantial cash prizes and tournament entries based on their final standings.
Sit & Crush is available to you at no extra charge. You’ll only be responsible for your standard table fees!
The weekly competitions for Sit & Crush run from 12:00am ET on Saturday until the following Friday at 11:59pm ET. Prizes are distributed by the end of the day on Saturday. Some players will also receive a $90+5 value ticket after the cash prize payout to be used for a tournament scheduled for 6:00pm ET on Sundays.
How It Works
In a 9-handed $100+10 Sit & Go tournament, with a $10 fee, $2.50 from the regular tournament fee will be allocated to the Sit & Crush jackpot. In this scenario, $22.50 will be directed towards the race ($2.5 x 9 = $22.5), with 75% contributed to the Cash Race and 25% to the Tournament Race. As per the previous example, $16.875 would be allocated to the Cash Race and $5.625 towards the tournament race.
If a player joins a $40 Jackpot Poker game, the fee would be $2.40, with $0.60 of that amount being allocated to the Sit & Crush rake race. In this case, each player would receive 3 points towards the Sit & Crush leaderboard.
Playing in a Sit & Go, On Demand tourney, or Jackpot Poker Game will result in automatic points for the Sit & Crush leaderboard. Players get 5 points towards the leaderboard per $1 in the jackpot, no matter the game or stake. Thus, you don’t have to be a high-stakes player to take part and earn rewards. Simply join your preferred tables and compete for your opportunity to win.
Double Points through On Demand Tourneys
On Demand Tournaments initiate once the required number of players have registered, just like Sit & Go’s. The distinguishing factor is that players can keep joining On Demand tournaments during a late registration phase, boosting the prize pools and offering more opportunities to win substantial prizes. Additionally, players participating in On Demand tournaments will earn double the Sit & Crush points.
Payout Structure
Participate in our Sit & Go, On Demand events, and Jackpot Poker Games to have the opportunity to compete on the leaderboard for cash prizes and tournament seats. The best part is that there are no additional costs involved! At Americas Cardroom, we fund the jackpot directly from our house tournament fees.
As more players join, the prize pool for the Sit & Crush jackpot continues to grow. This enables us to reward more players with increased cash and tournament prizes at the end of each week. Each points race starts on Saturday at 12:00am and concludes on Friday at 11:59pm ET. On Monday of every week, we distribute substantial cash and tournament prizes to hundreds of fortunate winners.
In Sit & Crush, the cash payout structure is determined by the size of the prize pool. The number of paid places will increase as the prize pool grows. There are four payout tiers available:
- Tier 1: $500
- Tier 2: $250
- Tier 3: $125
- Tier 4: $50
For each $3,500 put into the Sit & Crush cash prize pool, we add:
- 1 Tier 1 prize
- 2 Tier 2 prizes
- 5 Tier 3 prizes
- 20 Tier 4 prizes
We re-seed the next race with $875 and any residual funds between multiples of $3,500 are applied to maintain the set cap amounts for Tier 2, Tier 3, and Tier 4.
In addition to winning cash prizes, participants will also receive one entry into a tournament corresponding to their leaderboard ranking and the prize pool size during the qualifying period. If you secure a tournament seat, you will be automatically enrolled in that specific event. For more info, visit the Rewards tab.
