March Madness betting odds released
By Bob Garcia
It’s that time of year again where the madness reigns supreme. No, we’re not talking about the legal NFL free agency tampering period, although that’s crazy in its own right. We’re talking about college basketball’s March Madness tournament which gets underway this week.
You can see the odds favorites below along with their seeding. The four No. 1 seeds are unsurprisingly at the top of the list with Houston, Alabama, Kansas and Purdue. That’s followed by two No. 2 seeds in UCLA and Arizona.
One team getting a lot of respect in the odds (ranked 9th) is Connecticut, who is a No. 4 seed. Conversely, Virginia is also a No. 4 seed and is not even on the odds favorites list at +6000.
