Sunday Recap: Poker players had a Merry Christmas

Poker players who decided to spend time at Americas Cardroom yesterday had their own special Merry Christmas with our tourneys and more.

$150,000 GTD Sunday Warmup

Our Sunday Warmup was decreased to $150,000 GTD due to the slower Christmas Day. The tourney ($109 buy-in) finished with 1,812 total entries, which meant there was a $181,200 final prize pool. Congrats to the top 3:

$150,000 GTD Sunday Special

The Sunday Special was also decreased to $150,000 GTD yesterday. And with 764 total entries, the $200+15 buy-in event finished with a $152,800 final prize pool. Top three:

3) Grizzly2311 -> $12,606

$300,000 GTD Sunday High Roller

594 high rolling entrants played in Sunday’s $300K GTD tourney. When it was all said and done, the final prize pool hit $356,400 in this $630 buy-in tourney, which had 72 paid places. The top three:

2) DLAZ -> $49,361
3) LappyPoker -> $36,353

$150,000 GTD PKO

We also had a $150K GTD PKO tourney yesterday with a $1,050 buy-in. It had 144 entrants so we bumped up the regular prize money to $78,000, with another $72,000 in bounties. There were 18 paid places, but even more players earned cash bounties. The top three:
