Astros, Phillies meet in World Series Game 3

The World Series between the Houston Astros and Philadelphia Phillies hasn’t disappointed in the least. The series is tied at 1-1 as it shifts to Philly for Game 3 on Monday night.
The Phillies shocked Houston in the opener, winning 6-5 in 10 innings. They were actually trailing 5-0 after the third inning but this team has shown incredible moxie and toughness throughout the playoffs. The win even made them the slight World Series favorite at many sportsbooks heading into Game 2.
Game 2 was then a must-win for Houston on Saturday night and they were able to get it with a 5-2 final. The series have now been updated at the Americas Cardroom sportsbook and Houston is -190 and Philly at +163. The odds before the series began were Houston at -185 and Philly at +160.
Astros favored in important Game 3
The next three games will now be played in the City of Brotherly Love, starting with Game 3 tonight. First pitch is set for 8:03pm ET and will be broadcast on Fox once again.
Houston is a -131 road favorite, while Philadelphia is +118. The total is eight runs (Under -115). Philly is 5-0 at home this postseason, while Houston Is 3-0 away.
The pitching matchup is Noah Syndergaard against Lance McCullers Jr. Syndergaard has only pitched 5 1/3 innings this postseason over three appearances. McCullers Jr. has made two starts this postseason, giving just three earned runs over 11 innings. The pitching edge definitely goes to Houston, which helps make them the favorite, however you can’t count these Philly bats out.
