Dorothy Hagberg wins Punta Del Este Rookie Challenge

We recently finished our satellites that guaranteed 21 packages ($5,000 value each) to the Enjoy Poker Series Main Event in Uruguay.

And to make things even more exciting, we added one more player into the mix with our Punta Del Este Rookie Challenge contest, just won by Dorothy Hagberg. Here’s how it worked.

Contestants needed to take part in one of the 4 Punta Del Este satellites ($55 buy-in) and then post a Twitter video saying why we should choose them to win the extra package. You can see Dorothy’s video submission below.

Storage Wars TV personality Rene Nezhoda then chose 8 finalists to play in an online Sit & Go this past Friday. The winner was Dorothy and now she will join Nezhoda and ACR Pros Ryan Depaulo and Rob Kuhn in Uruguay to play in the Main Event in mid-October.

So, let’s all give a hearty congratulations to Dorothy and wish her good luck!

If you didn’t participate in the Punta Del Este Rookie Challenge, don’t worry as the next one should be coming shorty. Remember, earlier this year we held the WSOP Rookie Challenge with fan-favorite K.L. Cleeton and sent one lucky player to the WSOP Main Event in Vegas with a package worth $15,000.
