College Basketball’s Final Four now just two days away

By Bob Garcia

College Basketball’s Final Four is just two days away, with both games taking place this Saturday night. We have the latest odds updates from the Americas Cardroom sportsbook.
Duke is still the tourney favorite as coach Mike Krzyzewski looks to win his 6th national title in his last year at the helm. That would certainly be a Hollywood ending. The other piece of news from the title odds is that North Carolina has now moved ahead of Villanova since the lines were released on Monday.
Here’s a quick look at the two games. Note the spreads for both have tightened:
Kansas Jayhawks vs. Villanova Wildcats – 6:09pm ET
No. 1 seed Kansas is a 4-point favorite over No. 2 seed Villanova. That’s down a half-point from the -4.5 on Monday. The total is a low 132.5.
The biggest news heading into this game is how will Villanova compensate for losing starting guard Justin Moore (Achilles)? This is already a thin team.
Villanova is 4-0 ATS during March Madness, while Kansas is 2-2 ATS. Both teams have seen the UNDER go 3-1.
Duke Blue Devils vs. North Carolina Tar Heels – 8:49pm ET
No. 2 seed Duke is a 3.5-point favorite over No. 8 North Carolina. That’s down from -4.5 on Monday, so bettors have been gravitating towards the Heels. The total is 151.5 points.
These bitter ACC rivals split their two regular season meetings with the road team winning each time as ‘dogs. Duke is 3-1 ATS during March Madness, while UNC is 4-0 ATS.
March Madness title odds (opening odds in parenthesis):
1. Duke Blue Devils +159 (+154)
2. Kansas Jayhawks +180 (+187)
3. North Carolina Tar Heels +490 (+510)
4. Villanova Wildcats +500 (+463)
