Casino patron in Philadelphia kidnapped, robbed after a night out

A Parx Casino patron is safe after being abducted following a visit to the property

The weekend did not end as a visitor to the Parx Casino in Pennsylvania had hoped after apparently being abducted by four subjects who are still on the run. According to reports, the kidnappers waited for the 46-year-old victim to arrive home and then took him to an unknown location Sunday morning. Once at the destination, he was tied up in a basement.

The incident happened just after the man parked his car. As the victim got out of his vehicle to go to the entrance of his house, three men with their faces covered and wearing gloves reportedly approached the man, and apparently, two or three of them were carrying a firearm. Before the victim could gain access to his home, he was stopped and then forced into the back of a U-Haul truck, according to WPVI, a local radio station.

The victim was taken to a structure where he was tied up after being placed in a basement. The situation, which was under the control of the kidnappers, led to several questions being asked to the victim regarding the money in his home. The bandits also used the victim’s name to order electronic devices. Later, the victim was taken to another location, where he was released. He walked for about two miles to his home, where he arrived to report the crime that had just occurred.

According to reports, the suspects managed to take a firearm, credit cards, keys, and shoes from the man’s home and an unspecified amount of cash. The victim was threatened with death if he reported the incident to the police and it is not yet known if the subject was chased from the casino. Police continue to make every effort to track down all suspects linked to this crime.
