Netflix making the most out of Squid Game by turning it into a video game

Squid Game’s explosive popularity as a TV series is bringing it to the video game realm

“Squid Game” has been reaching levels of popularity that perhaps even its producers did not expect in advance. This Korean drama has positioned itself as the number one show on Netflix in the US and many other countries around the world. Although it has moments that are very cold and bloody, it also has a background that generates many moral questions in all its viewers. According to the latest updates, Netflix will be taking advantage of the great fame that Squid Game is having to launch a new video game on the market.

While it is clear that the hype for this series extends beyond the first season, it is not the only thing that new fans can expect. Many may be assuming that a video game based on this series would be as brutal as the scenes seen, but you may be surprised that a video game adaptation of the show doesn’t have exactly the same direction. It seems that the game that is exploding with Squid Game adaptations is completely taking over the Roblox platform. It is ironic to many that this intense show is being marketed to younger gamers, and although Roblox is open to all ages, it is still trending among youngsters around the age of 13.

Self-described as “a global platform where millions of people…imagine, create, and share experiences with each other in immersive, user-generated 3D worlds,” Roblox has kept its word to offer a game that is as limitless as the creators’ own imaginations. Through the game, many players can expect to relive unique moments from the show such as “Red Light, Green Light,” “Honeycomb,” “Marbles” and more.
