The actor is putting his reputation and face behind the cryptocurrency trading platform

It looks like a new ad being developed by the famous cryptocurrency exchange and soon to be presented to consumers around the world will have a familiar face. Hollywood actor and star Matt Damon did not hesitate to be part of the crypto space by lending his presence to this soon-to-be-launched campaign. A clear sign of how the crypto space has been advancing in popularity, so much so that more and more celebrities are not thinking twice about being part of the current boom.

The “fortune favors the brave” ad will see Damon as the main protagonist wrapped in a digital panorama of historical figures, including the Wright brothers and Sir Edmund Hillary. The main goal of this recent campaign is to reach a global audience of potential cryptocurrency investors and users.

It’s no secret that having the influence of some of the most recognized actors in the film industry is a huge boost in achieving that goal. According to’s announcement, a large number of billboards and television commercials around the world will be the primary means by which this announcement will be made known and will also be included in its portfolio of partnerships with major sports franchises and organizations.

The announcement comes shortly after it was announced that donated $1 million to, a clean water initiative that was actually co-founded by Damon more than a decade ago. The actor said the platform “shares [his] commitment to empowering people around the globe with the tools needed to take control of their futures.” Damon, a two-time Global Globe and Academy Award winner, is arguably one of the most prominent celebrities to have a stake in a cryptocurrency exchange.
