Brady favored for more passing yards than Rodgers in Week 5
By Bob Garcia
Tampa Bay’s Tom Brady is coming off his lowest passing output of the season but is still the favorite over Green Bay’s Aaron Rodgers in a unique Week 5 NFL Player Prop at the Americas Cardroom sportsbook.
There are several quarterback matchup props available for Most Passing Yards. The QBs don’t have to be playing in the same game, which is the case this week with the future Hall of Famers, Brady and Rodgers.
The current odds have Brady as -195 in the Passing Yards Matchup against Rodgers (+154). Brady had 264 passing yards at New England last Sunday night in rain-filled emotional game against his former team. He should find the sledding easier (literally and figuratively) at home against Miami this week. Brady is second in the league in passing yards per game this year (339).
Rodgers is 26th in passing yards per game (224.3), although has been pretty consistent the last three (255,261,248). Green Bay visits Cincinnati this Sunday and the Bengals are tied-for-13th in passing yards allowed (229.5 YPG).
Don’t like passing stats? There are also receiving and rushing props available for Week 5. For example, Tennessee’s Derrick Henry is a -150 favorite to have more rushing this week than Cleveland Nick Chubb (+120). The Titans are at Jacksonville while the Browns visit the L.A. Chargers.
