The New Orleans Saints are expected to beat the Giants this week

Oddsmakers believe the Saints may be over their new-season jitters

With the New Orleans Saints coming off two wins and just one loss, oddsmakers say they have a lot more faith that the team will roll over the New York Giants in Week 4. This definitely makes things look pretty good for the team now that they are back home and have their next game on Sunday. It will be the first official game they will play in the Caesars Superdome since the stadium’s rebranding, and many hope that the Saints have the ability to please the fans in attendance.

On top of that, things have not been going well for Big Blue. The Giants are still searching for their first win, and are one of two teams in the NFC (along with the Detroit Lions) that have yet to celebrate after a game. Situations like these have led Tipico Sportsbook to favor the Saints by 7.5 points, with a very low Over/Under of 42.5 points. This ties two other games for the smallest output of the week. The implied final score is expected to be New Orleans 25, New York 17.

Clearly, these expectations seem a bit generous for a team that barely scored 14 points on the Atlanta Falcons last week. Whatever the predictions, Saints fans and players are confident that they will put up a good showing, and that will lead to them being able to come out on top next weekend. While it is true that the team could be missing some important players due to injuries, coach Sean Payton is known for always having an ace up his sleeve, and it is very likely that he already has a plan B at those positions in order to be able to continue giving an outstanding performance on the field.
