The Poker Master series is already producing some powerful winners
Brock Wilson’s comeback at the final table of Poker Masters 2021 Event #4 ($10,000 No-Limit Hold’em) was beyond incredible. The young poker pro started the final stage in the last place in chips, but that wasn’t enough of an excuse for him to slowly battle his way to the top of the chip counts. Crowned champion of the event, Wilson managed to win his first Poker Masters in his career and take home a total of $189,800, not to mention the first place in the Poker Masters Purple Jacket standings.
Many fans and pros alike have been quite impressed with the recent performances of Wilson, who, although a relative newcomer to the high roller scene, has been able to outlast some of the top pros. For about two years now, the Las Vegas resident has been making his presence felt at some of the biggest live tournaments on the circuit, and as time has passed, his name is becoming more recognized in the poker world. On a few occasions, Wilson came close to taking home a win in the PokerGo studio, but it wasn’t until now that he was able to materialize that goal.
On Saturday night, the poker pro was looking quite determined and even managed to dash the expectations of many, who believed that because he started last at the final table, he would not be able to take home the title. In addition to achieving one of the biggest wins of his career, the cash also ranks in the top five in his lifetime, and now totals around $3.5 million in winnings.
It took over an hour for the first elimination to come to the final table; however, after that, it all started to go down to the wire. Elio Fox and Wilson were the last two standing, and while it’s true that the most recent heads-up showdowns at the Poker Masters last a good amount of money. On this occasion, it only took 30 minutes for Wilson to assume the chip lead and take home the big pot.
