Apple Arcade to get an exclusive Lego Star Wars game

The real-time strategy video game will give iOS users a unique opportunity

While it’s true that Lego Star Wars fans will have to wait until next spring for the release of Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, Apple Arcade will make sure that wait is quite entertaining with another game in the franchise. It was recently announced that Lego Star Wars Battles will arrive exclusively for Apple Arcade users. In this real-time strategy game, you will have the opportunity to face off among several players and show who is the best.

In the game, you can accumulate a wide range of characters, vehicles and upgradable troops from all eras included in the Star Wars universe, which makes the players can enjoy a complete experience. Whether you are a fan of the light or dark side, you will have a deck of armies from either side, with different play styles for each. As if that weren’t enough, you’ll also have a number of abilities at your disposal, including Luke Skywalker’s Force Push or Darth Vader’s Force Slam. As players, you have the responsibility of building Lego Towers that you will then have to defend and attack if you want to claim as much territory as possible. As reported, locations include some familiar environments, including Endor, Naboo, and Hoth.

Warner Bros. Games is the company behind the game’s publishing, while its development is being done by TT Games Brighton. Apple Arcade had already been the home platform for some other games in the franchise two years ago when Lego Brawls and Lego Builder’s Journey were included in the service. Nintendo Switch and PC users have also been able to enjoy this latest title since two months ago.
