ACR Pro Ryan Depaulo conquers his first ever WSOP Circuit Event
By Bob Garcia
Americas Cardroom Team Pro Ryan Depaulo is making waves once again. On Monday night, the self-proclaimed degenerate gambler won WSOP.com Online Circuit Event 4. After conquering the $500 Pot Limit Omaha Big 500 6-Max tournament, Depaulo walked away with his first ever WSOP Circuit Ring and $16,681 in cash.
Following his victory, Depaulo celebrated with this hilarious tweet:
Just won a WSOP Ring in PLO!
… AND I DONT EVEN KNOW HOW TO PLAY

We’re not entirely sure whether Ryan was joking—maybe PLO just isn’t his specialty—yet you can excuse us for being impressed. Regardless, he did manage to top a field of 147 entrants, so maybe he was just taunting his opponents and adoring public. Either way, it’s all in good fun and we can’t wait to see what he does next.
Of course, this isn’t Depaulo’s first WSOP victory. In 2020, the social media sensation crushed the WSOP Big 500 event and secured $159,563 in the process. That win just so happened to be the stuff of legends.
Due to the pandemic, last year’s World Series of Poker was entirely online. Interestingly enough, WSOP participants were legally required to be in the State of New Jersey in order to take part. Despite living across the Hudson River, Depaulo was able to win from the comfort of his car, which was conveniently parked in a Garden State Whole Foods parking lot.
