NBA Draft odds added for 4th and 5th pick
By Bob Garcia
Yesterday in the Big Blind Blog, we had an article that previewed the NBA Draft that gets underway tonight (Thursday) at 8pm ET.
That article contained prop odds at the Americas Cardroom sportsbook on who will be the 2nd and 3rd overall player selected. Now, there are new odds added for the 4th and 5th pick (see below).
The first three picks are expected to be Cade Cunningham (no odds listed), Jalen Green (-550) and Evan Mobley (-500). Detroit, Houston and Cleveland currently have the top-3 picks and there could still be trades, with plenty of discussions going on.
The fourth and fifth picks don’t have as big of favorites at the top with Jalen Suggs (-240) the leader at No. 4 and Scottie Barnes (-275) at No. 5. Suggs would be a great fit with current pick-holder Detroit. I see a slightly better chance at an odds-upset at No. 5, with James Bouknight (+600) worth a play. The Magic currently have that selection.
Remember we also have ‘Draft Position’ odds available for over 20 players. So, for example, you can bet on whether Baylor guard (and national champ) Davion Mitchell will go Over (-132) or Under (+100) the 12 ½-pick.
