Binge hopes to fill an entertainment void gamers have been missing
As the video game industry continues to grow, the online streaming market also wants to follow in its footsteps and the latest to join it is Binge. This platform has every intention of being a huge success. To achieve this, it wants to do things a little differently so that its users can experience something more innovative than what is usually available. Binge has made it clear that its focus will not be prestige TV shows or blockbuster movies, but rather a focus on original series or one-off episodes inspired by various game worlds and even content creators in the gaming space.
This comes as good news for all those in the community who prefer those topics because now they will find everything they are looking for centrally. According to what has been indicated, the platform is expected to launch next year, and anyone who has a smart device will be able to access it for free. The streaming service will provide “high-quality premium entertainment content for gamers” and although it has not yet been revealed what partnerships it will have, it is well known that “the world’s most popular content creators, game publishers, and studios” will be included. The equation will feature indie games, retro games, and modern blockbusters, all in one place for the delight of users.
Binge co-founder Cody Hackman said, “What sets Binge apart is that we are bridging the gap between gaming and traditional entertainment, bringing together the best of both worlds. With our extensive experience and expertise in production, gaming, and development, we are fully committed to delivering high-quality content that respects the games we love.”
More information regarding the launch and details of the platform are expected in the coming months.
