Call of Duty League All-Stars have been announced

The CDL All-Star eSports games are coming this weekend

Just as many NBA fans look forward to the weekend where the league’s All-Stars come together for a game like no other, the eSports community is gearing up for T-Mobile’s Call of Duty League All-Star weekend. The T-Mobile All-Star Weekend taking place May 22-23 is expected to provide great competition, where 16 of the Call of Duty League’s top stars will face off in a one-on-one single-elimination bracket at the T-Mobile All-Star Pro 2021 Skills Tournament.

The Call of Duty League officially unveiled yesterday the 2021 CDL All-Stars, which include Atlanta FaZe, Toronto Ultra, OpTic Chicago and Los Angeles Thieves, leading the way with two selections. There is no doubt that Methodz will be a team that will have a strong showing, as fans voted for this team to represent Toronto.

Another All-Star named was New York Subliners phenom HyDra, who will be filling in for his teammate Clayster, after indicating he was unable to perform this time around. HyDra has a 1.12 KD total and an astounding 1.29 KD at Hardpoint and has been a staple in New York’s starting lineup since joining last month.

The one-on-one tournament will not be the only one that will take place, as it has also been said that an extra four-on-four tournament will also take place and the teams will be selected by CDL pitchers StuDy, Chance, Nameless, and Miles. The tournament will be based on single elimination with traditional CDL game modes.

For all those fans looking to witness this great event, the event kicks off on Saturday, May 22 at 2 PM and can be followed on the official Call of Duty League YouTube channel.
