The New Orleans Saints have a new tough on their schedule in the upcoming season

As the NFL adds another week to the season, the Saints find out who they have to face
It looks like 2020 history is repeating itself for the New Orleans Saints, as once again, the team has an extremely difficult schedule in 2021. As if it wasn’t enough for the Saints to play the reigning Super Bowl champions, they also have to play five more playoff teams. Those teams include the Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Football Team, Buffalo Bills, Seattle Seahawks, Miami Dolphins, and Green Bay Packers. Plus, their new addition to the schedule will have the Saints close the season against the Tennessee Titans.
It’s no secret that the news shared by the NFL last week that a Week 18 season and a regular-season game would be added was not welcomed by Saints players, especially Alvin Kamara. Kamara took to his social networks to express how upset he was with the NFL board’s decision, even though it was news that could have been a long time coming. Beyond the extra game, the Saints now also have to face another top-tier AFC team, the Tennessee Titans.
It seems that this year has not been easy at all for the Saints, and now the NFL is giving them no respite from their main goal, the Lombardi Trophy. Even so, these challenges will undoubtedly make the team take the necessary measures to excel, this is not something they have not demonstrated on previous occasions.
For evidence of that, the last time the Saints faced off against the Titans, was in Week 16 of the 2019 season. By that time, Drew Brees had a magnificent night, racking up 279 yards and giving his team a 38-28 victory. If the Black and Gold can have a similar night again, having to face the Titans should be no problem at all.
