New multimillion Legends Bay Casino in Nevada breaks ground

The casino is the first in 26 years to be built from the ground up in the Reno-Sparks area
Last Wednesday, Olympia Gaming announced that construction has finally begun on the Legends Bay Casino, which will be located near The Outlets at Legends shopping center in Sparks, NV. If all goes according to plan and disruptions are no longer part of the process, the multimillion-dollar project is expected to open in the middle of next year, with many attractions, food, and entertainment being the mainstay of the casino.
Had it not been for the consequences of COVID-19, this construction would already be at an advanced stage. However, it has been a long process for construction to become a reality as this is the first time in over 26 years that a casino has been built from the ground up in the Reno-Sparks metropolitan area. Among the games that many gamblers will find are new slot machines, a variety of table games, as well as multiple dining options, and a large number of bars for those looking to have a good time before or after winning money at poker.
Olympia Gaming COO, DeCourcy Graham said, “This project is 14 years in the making. After successfully completing the first phase of this project with the Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton and the Residence Inn by Marriott, we are now in a position to begin the next phase of development. We thank the City of Sparks and RED Development for helping bring this project to reality. We plan to build a project that the community will be proud to call their own.”
Visitors to the area will also have the opportunity to visit this new casino without having to travel far, as it is located approximately 15 minutes from the Reno-Tahoe International Airport.
