The NFL quarterback is joining the eSports craze
It seems that the attraction that many sports gamers have started to have in eSports is growing rapidly over the last few years. In the latest example, Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray was announced as the newest member of Faze Clan, the North American competitive eSports and gaming content organization.
The quarterback, who has had a great performance during his time with the Cardinals, will now take the name FaZe K1 for the organization. However, beyond his passion for football, Murray has made it clear that, since he was five years old, he has had a fascination for video games and this opportunity has seemed more than great. Just as he has now become a member, Murray has also said that he plans to invest in the organization in order to improve many aspects and become a major player in the eSports universe. There is no doubt that many Murray fans will now also want to see him in action off the field and see what great skills Murray has as a video game player.
Faze Clan seems to be extremely happy with this new integration into the organization and, as a token of celebration, is launching an official FaZe K1 merchandising capsule within the organization’s upcoming online spring release for all fans to support the team and Murray as such. The capsule consists of a limited edition hooded sweatshirt and t-shirt and will be priced at $40 and $90. Anyone interested in purchasing the collection will be able to do so beginning Thursday and is expected to sell out quickly.
