The Reno property is almost ready to unveil its new look to the public
Grand Sierra Resort and Casino in Reno, NV, has recently announced that its efforts to provide a unique experience for its guests are still underway and for this, the resort will undergo several changes for which $200 million will be invested. When casinos return to normal following the COVID-19 debacle, the Grand Sierra hopes to be able to provide a new venue to welcome gamblers.
The changes are expected to include a transformation of the property’s main entrance, an enhanced entertainment and dining experience, as well as room upgrades and updates to the resort’s common areas. Grand Sierra President and GM Shannon Keel said, “Since assuming ownership in 2011, our owner Alex Meruelo has invested in making GSR the premier gaming resort in Reno-Tahoe. We pride ourselves on delivering a premium guest experience offering the finest amenities in northern Nevada. No other resort in our region can equal our pool experience, entertainment options, or lavish room finishings. These latest updates are simply a reflection of Mr. Meruelo’s commitment to excellence and his never-ending pursuit to deliver unequaled hospitality and guest experiences.”
In order to provide a unique experience from the start, the facade of the facility is expected to receive major changes to welcome visitors with a fresher, more visually pleasing design. Once inside, the resort will feature an incredible chandelier called “The Blossom.” Also, new floors and a large number of new games will be added so that players will have more options and can enjoy themselves with more entertainment options.
For those looking to vacation this summer, The Pool at the Grand Sierra will also undergo some changes. Guests will find an extensive new cocktail lounge with new signature cocktails, as well as a food court displaying different cultures.
