California stop for the MSPT coming up in a few weeks

The Mid-States Poker Tour will arrive in San Diego at the end of this month

California will be home to the upcoming Mid-States Poker Tour (MSPT) for the first time in history since its debut in 2009. To be more specific, the venue for the upcoming tour will be the Sycuan Casino Resort located in San Diego. All those interested in participating in these 11 trophy events will have the opportunity to do so from April 29 through May 9.

During these dates, there will be two main events for all poker players. To begin with, there will be a $360 buy-in, $100,000 GTD regional event, which will feature three starting flights. To cap off the series, there will be another $1,100 buy-in event, which will be the $200,000 GTD Main Event, also with three starting flights. Among the remaining nine events, there will be a variety of forms of poker for all the pros to showcase their skills to the best of their abilities, including Pot-Limit Omaha and Pot-Limit Omaha 8 or Better championships.

One of the important rules to be able to access Sycuan Casino Resort is to be over 21 years old. The casino, which is only 30 minutes from downtown San Diego, has been recognized worldwide for its upscale accommodations and extraordinary amenities. For gamblers, this place could be paradise with at least 2,500 slot machines, baccarat, bingo, blackjack and a luxurious poker room, which is perfect for events of this magnitude.

Once the MSPT events end their stay at the Sycuan, they will head to the Midwest to the Silverado-Franklin Casino in Deadwood. Later in the summer, the MSPT will also be in Las Vegas for two major tournaments at The Venetian.
