Americas Cardroom is sponsoring Ben Askren in upcoming boxing match
By Bob Garcia
Americas Cardroom is getting into the fight game! Well, sort of. On Saturday, April 17th there will be an exciting boxing match between YouTube star, Jake Paul and retired MMA Fighter, Ben Askren.
And when Askren steps into the ring at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, he will be sporting the Americas Cardroom logo on his shorts as we are sponsoring him for this fight!
Paul is currently the –135 favorite at the Americas Cardroom sportsbook while Askren is +105. These odds have already been adjusted and will continue to do so, so keep clicking on ‘Sports’ in the poker client to see the latest lines.
Note you can watch this 8-round match on Pay Per View at around 9pm ET as part of the Triller Fight Club.
The 36-year-old Askren is a former MMA fighter with a 19-2 record. He did lose his last two fights, both in the UFC, including a 5-second knockout to Jorge Masvidal. Askren has great wrestling ability as that was his former background before MMA. However, he will need to prove that his punching skills can match up to Paul in the ring.

The 24-year-old Paul is primarily known as a YouTube personality but is starting to make a name for himself in the ring as well. This past November, he knocked out former NBA player, Nate Robinson. While Askren is certainly a big step up in competition, Paul has bragging rights for now as the favorite.

We will see who has the last laugh on Saturday, April 17th.
