Colorado’s Wildwood Casino closes in on completion of $14-million expansion

The casino is adding a new hotel and fixtures as it looks to update its presence

Residents and visitors to Cripple Creek, CO, will now be able to enjoy a new hotel that American Gaming Group (AGG) is building. The $14 million complex will feature a total of 101 rooms and, to the good fortune of many gamblers, will be adjacent to the Wildwood Casino, which is also owned by AGG. Construction is well underway and is expected to open mid-year.

Nanci Ciampa, sales manager of Wildwood Hotel and Casino, said the experience this hotel will offer will be unique in the area. All those interested in taking a beautiful vacation here can start making the plans now. In fact, the hotel is offering incentives to all guests who decide to make a reservation before April 15. This is intending to attract new guests to come and enjoy all the beautiful amenities the hotel has to offer.

The new Wildwood Hotel comes as a result of wanting to create a destination area that has been overdue for several decades; however, local leaders say this project will be more than welcome. Since the construction and planning stages began, many people have been praising the new hotel, as there has been a great need for more modern rooms in the city, and this new project seems to be going in the right direction. The updates were initiated in 2019; however, the pandemic caused by COVID-19 made some delays unavoidable.
Still, there is nothing to worry about, since according to officials, the project is practically finished and a grand opening could take place in June if everything goes according to plan.
