Sunday Recap: OSS Cub3d gets underway on Super Bowl Sunday

Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers weren’t the only winners yesterday. Thanks to a busy Sunday tournament schedule at Americas Cardroom, many of our players scored big.

OSS Cub3d Kickoff – $125,000 GTD
Our $13 Million OSS Cub3d started yesterday with five Mini Online Super Series (MOSS) events plus a special $125K tournament, which cost a mere $16.50 to enter. With 7,049 entrants, this 8-max tourney had a $19,265 overlay, making it an especially great value. Congrats to all 1,035 players who cashed, especially the top three:

$250,000 GTD Warm Up
Thanks to the participation of 2,953 entrants, there was no shortage of heat in Sunday’s $250K GTD 8-max tourney. Due to popular demand, the final prize pool hit $295,300 in this $109 buy-in event. That’s 18% more than advertised.

$200,000 GTD Sunday Special
With 1,190 entries, Sunday’s $200K unlimited re-entry tournament had a final prize pool of $238,000. 180 players went home with cash in this $215 buy-in tourney. Your top three:

$150,000 GTD High Roller PKO
Sunday’s $150K progressive knockout tournament saw 254 high rollers play for a final prize pool of $152,400, including $76,200 worth of bounties. This $630 buy-in tourney had 36 paid places, but many more players walked away with cash bounties. The top three:
