The New Orleans Saints preparing for the Divisional Round game against the Bucs

This Sunday will see a quarterback battle between Drew Brees and Tom Brady
Two well-established veteran quarterbacks are going to face each other this weekend to determine who deserves the right to advance in the NFL postseason. The New Orleans Saints will face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Divisional Round, pitting Drew Brees against Tom Brady in a battle of the GOATS. The duo have already made history for getting this far, and will add some more records as soon as they step on the field.
This game will feature a quarterback, in Brees, who leads the league in career passing yards, as well as a quarterback, in Brady, who leads in career passing touchdowns. The two vets will also provide the highest combined age for quarterbacks in a playoff game, at 85 (Brees turns 42 this Friday; Brady is 43). This will also be the first time these two have met in a playoff game, despite having spent over 40 years combined in the NFL.
If the regular season is any hint (and Saints fans hope it was), the Saints are not going to have a lot of difficulty in the Bucs. These two teams met in Week 1, with the Saints picking up a 34-23 win to start their season on the right foot. When they met again later in the season, the Saints once again proved to be too much, walking away with a 38-3 victory – 31 of those points were scored in the first half, while the Bucs didn’t score any.
