Saints again the top NFC team in Super Bowl Odds
By Bob Garcia
If you’ve been following along in our weekly Super Bowl odds at Americas Cardroom, you might be wondering who the heck is the best team in the NFC.
If you looked at the odds from a week before the regular season to today, you would see that San Francisco, New Orleans, Seattle, and Tampa Bay have all been the favored team from the NFC at one point in time. Green Bay also just missed the top spot back in early October.
This week, New Orleans is back on top in the conference merry-go-round. And it’s well deserved as the Saints had a huge 38-3 road win at NFC South rival Tampa last Sunday night.
And while the NFC has been continually up for grabs, Kansas City has been the top team from the AFC all season. Pittsburgh has moved ahead of Baltimore in second place after beating (28-24) their division rival on the road two weeks ago. However, those are the three clear-cut teams from the conference, with no one else even close.
Here are the new top-10 Super Bowl favorites: You can see the previous Week 9 odds in parenthesis.
1. Kansas City Chiefs +335 (+345)
2. Pittsburgh Steelers +575 (+525)
3. New Orleans Saints +680 (+1500)
4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers +833 (+550)
5. Green Bay Packers +951 (+1050)
6. Baltimore Ravens +1005 (+1000)
7. Seattle Seahawks +1055 (+750)
8. Buffalo Bills +1939
9. Tennessee Titans +2315 (2650)
10. Los Angeles Rams +2518 (+2650)
The only new addition to our top-10 list from last week is Buffalo. The Bills are 7-2 and are coming off a very impressive 44-34 home win over Seattle. Indianapolis is the only team out of the top-10 after a 24-10 home loss to Baltimore.
