NFL Week 8 odds released at Americas Cardroom
By Bob Garcia
Week 8 of the NFL season opens Thursday with an NFC South battle between the Atlanta Falcons and Carolina Panthers. The Falcons have found new ways to lose every week at 1-6 SU, but they are a respectable 2-1 ATS on the road this season.
The Dallas Cowboys (2-5 SU) are the only team to fail to cover a game this season (0-7 ATS). They are a No Line right now in their NFC East matchup at Philly with quarterback Andy Dalton in concussion protocol.
The NY Jets (0-7 SU, 1-6 ATS) got their first cover of the season last week (18-10 home loss to Buffalo as 9.5-point ‘dogs). They have a college-like spread this week, getting 19 points at the defending-champion Kansas City Chiefs.
The Game of the Week is Pittsburgh (+3.5) at Baltimore in a ferocious AFC North matchup. The Steelers are 6-0 SU and 5-1 ATS and the Ravens are 5-1 SU and 3-3 ATS. The two teams will meet again in the Steel City on Thanksgiving.
There are four teams on a bye this week with Arizona, Washington, Jacksonville and Houston.
