NFL Week 2 updated betting lines
By Bob Garcia
NFL players might not like Thursday night contests with the short turnaround, but fans and bettors both love it with just three days between games!
The first game of this week is an Ohio / AFC North battle with the Cincinnati Bengals (+6) at the Cleveland Browns. Bengals’ rookie quarterback Joe Burrow looked decent overall in his NFL debut last week.
Last week, only Kansas City and Jacksonville were allowed to have fans in the stands, each with limited capacity. Both of those teams are on the road in Week 2, but Cleveland, Indianapolis, Miami and Dallas are all expected to have some fans.
Some teams to watch out for are solid favorites in Dallas, Tampa Bay and San Francisco. Each is an expected playoff team in the NFC and had a loss last week. All are desperate to avoid going 0-2, so they should be playing with urgency, although that doesn’t guarantee a cover (or even a win).
