NBA Playoffs have huge doubleheader tonight

The NBA Playoffs have a huge doubleheader tonight (Tuesday) from the ‘bubble’ in Orlando. Boston and Miami start the Eastern Conference Finals and the L.A. Clippers and Denver play a winner-take-all Game 7 in the West semis.

Please note that the NBA Title odds at the Americas Cardroom sportsbook are not updated right now, but should be available shortly after these games.

Miami Heat vs Boston Celtics – Game 1

Tip-off is set for 6:40pm ET. Boston is a small 1.5-point favorite for the opener with a total of 209.5 points. The series price is Boston -130 and Miami +110.

Boston is the No. 3 seed out of the East and needed all seven games to get by a more experienced Toronto squad last round. Miami is the No. 4 seed and had a shocking 5-game upset over No. 1 Milwaukee last round.

Miami will be a little fresher coming into the series, but Boston has more overall star power and could even get Gordon Hayward back during this series. I like Boston at the -130 series odds.

Los Angeles Clippers vs Denver Nuggets – Game 7

Tip-off game is at 9pm ET. L.A. is a solid 7.5-point favorite with a total of 207.5 points.

You have to hand it to the Nuggets who were down 3-1 in this series. They could have folded up their tent and left the bubble, but they stormed back to win the last two games, each time coming from double-digits deficits in the second half.

The pressure is now squarely on the Clippers. It would be a momentous collapse to lose this series, even though the Nuggets have two legitimate stars in Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic.

One team surely hoping for a Denver win is the Lakers, as LeBron James and company would love to avoid their L.A. rival in the Conference Finals.
