Saints fans who can’t catch the games live can watch them later on the local channel
Football is perhaps the most popular sport in the US, with millions of people following the NFL season every year. There’s a lot going on now and it might not always be possible to watch the action as it happens, so the New Orleans Saints have a backup plan. They want to make sure all of their regular-season games can be watched by all fans one more time and have announced a deal with Gray Television. This means that fans will be able to re-watch every Saints regular-season game to be played in 2020 at 7 PM CST on Tuesdays through local Fox affiliate WVUE-FOX 8, using its digital channel, Bounce TV-New Orleans.
The first game for fans to have been able to watch was the first game of the 2020 NFL season where the Saints won over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 1. “Re-airing Saints games on a local level is a very unique opportunity, one we feel benefits Saints’ fans across our viewing area,” said WVUE-FOX 8 VP and General Manager Ronna Corrente. “In these difficult times, we are thrilled to give viewers another chance to watch the Saints play.”
“We are excited to work with Bounce TV to provide additional entertainment to our fans during the 2020 NFL season,” said New Orleans Saints Owner Gayle Benson. “During these unprecedented times, it is important for us to give our fans a much-needed respite and opportunity to come together and watch Saints football.”
Additionally, Gray Television Senior Vice President Sandy Breland said, “Saints fans are among the most dedicated and passionate in the league. We’re happy to partner with the New Orleans Saints in giving fans another opportunity to enjoy their favorite team.”
