Our latest software release is loaded with new features
Have you launched the ACR poker client lately? If you haven’t, you’re missing out on some exciting new features. Check out this video for a rundown of what’s new as of our July 22nd software update.
We think you’ll love these three enhancements:
Poker players have been requesting tournament summaries for years and we’re proud to finally bring them to you. Tournament summaries are valuable for anyone who keeps poker databases in poker tracker, hold’em manager, or similar tools.
You can access tournament summaries by clicking on Game Info from the menu in the lobby and choosing My Tournaments. Next choose the folder where you want to save the summaries and click OK. Now whenever you win or bust out of a tournament, the file will be written to the designated folder on your hard drive.
Progressive Knockout Tournaments
If you want to punch above your weight, then check out our new Progressive Knockout tournaments. With a bounty on everybody’s head, there’s extra cash up for grabs with every knockout blow.
Progressive Knockout tournaments are marked with a red target symbol in the lobby. You can also activate the filters and select bounty knockout tournaments.
Total knockout tournament prize pools include the regular prize pool and the bounty. You can see the breakdown in the tournament lobby. When playing in a knockout tournament, you’ll find gold-lined name plates beside every player. This is how much you stand to win if you knock out the player.
All Hands At Showdown
Since the update, all players who are seated at the table will see the hole cards of anyone who went to showdown. In other words, there is no mucking your cards at a showdown. We’ve made this change to prevent collusion and increase transparency.
While this info was previously available in hand histories and within the replayer, we’re pleased to bring this directly to the table.
Aside from the key features mentioned above, we’ve also eliminated some bugs, improved the stability of our client, and upped our game against bots.
