Poker Masters Online puts together Pot-Limit Omaha tournaments

Texas Hold’em isn’t the only poker that has become popular with players

Even though Texas Hold’em became the most popular form of poker, there are many players that enjoy Pot-Limit Omaha (PLO) as well. Poker Central knows this, and it is pleasing its audience by including something more than just No-Limit Hold’em (NLHE). Since the coronavirus pandemic also crushed all possibilities to run Poker Central’s high stakes series in Las Vegas, the organizers quickly jumped into action and came up with the Poker Masters Series Online, which will bring both NLHE and PLO events.

This online series comes after the success of the Poker Masters Online, a series of 30 high-stakes tournaments that shared a total of $16.5 million in prize pool guarantees. By offering both NLHE and PLO games, the series was a total success and the final prizes pools were double what was originally guaranteed, reaching $35.4 million. Poker Central has been busy running online events while the live poker action comes to live again. Last month, Poker Central transformed its Super High Roller Bowl and turned into an online series offering 28 tournaments, all NLHE, which was another success.

There are plenty of poker players that enjoy playing PLO just as much as NLHE; players actually appreciate variety. One common complaint that is made to this massive online series is that Omaha lovers are getting out of the mix. So, the fact that Poker Central is running the Poker Masters Online PLO Series will please to these players that will have a variety of buy-ins to choose from. The series will run from June 21-29, and those nine days will be packed with 29 different tournaments and buy-ins from $500 to $50,000.
