This month will be the biggest ever for the Beast with over $1 million in payouts
Whoa. The Beast has been on a ferocious tear lately and players are sinking their teeth into some serious prize money. We’re talking way more money than normal in the Beast’s storied history.
By the time Friday, April 3rd rolls around, the Beast will likely have paid out over $1,000,000 in cash and tournament seats.
Just take a look at the results for the last Beast weekly rake race. The cash component paid out $182,374.70 and the tournament component paid out $60,791.56. That’s a total of $243,166.26.
A total of 828 players earned cash and tournaments seats, and in all, 989 players profited (with some just winning cash, though that’s nothing to scoff at).
And things keep getting bigger. As of publication time, the current cash component has over $100,000 in it, plus another $34,000 in tournament seats. These numbers keep growing by leaps and bounds as more and more players flock to Americas Cardroom.
This isn’t marketing speak. The proof is in the numbers. Last Sunday’s $125,000 GTD tourney featured a final prize pool of $379,000. And Sunday, March 29th’s $1 Million GTD OSS XL tournament featured a final prize pool of $1,419,000.
If you want to cash in on the Beast, then take a seat at any cash game table and play like always. As you play, you’ll learn one leaderboard point for every $0.02 fed to the Beast generated by you using the Weighted Contributed Rake Methodology.
At the end of the weekly leaderboard period (the Beast runs from Saturday at 12am ET to Friday at 11:59pm ET), you’ll get paid out. Simple as that.
