2020 not a good year for WWE 2K20

After glitches kept the game down last year, fans weren’t able to play as the new yet rolled aroums

A new year has started and has brought countless opportunities to make things better. However, after all the technical problems that the game WWE 2K20 that caused the worst reactions, the new game’s co-developers found themselves in a similar struggle. There is apparently a huge error in the game based on several reports from the video game fans, and, at the turn of new year, the game began crashing and not making any attempt to reload any other game modes on the menu. This is the first game that is developed in its entirety by Visual Concepts after taking full charge after 2K split from Yuke’s studio after a poor reaction from fans to all the technical issues the game presented.

This crash was reported in more than one version including Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. Attempts were made to contact 2K for an estimated time for resolution. In the beginning, it seemed to be that gamers using PlayStation 4 and PC were able to just change the system date back to 2019 and the problem was resolved – not for the Xbox players though. Karl Slatoff president of Take-Two said back in November when most of the issues started, “The WWE brand continues to expand worldwide and we believe there remains a substantial long-term opportunity to grow our WWE 2K series by improving the quality of the game.” And that way several patches were released to address all the bugs the game presented.

In a Twitter post, the company confirmed the problem to be now fixed. “This issue has been resolved. Please make sure to restart your #WWE2K20 game to automatically download the fix,” said the post. It also added an extra link to create support tickets if the case was that this simple fix didn’t work for all players.
