Tinder now offers a video game
The dating app gets into the video game scene
The world of video games presents all kinds of opportunities for different businesses to join the industry in the most creative ways. This time one of the biggest dating apps, Tinder, the romance and dating app, is coming out with a video game that hosts a party in which all of your friends will be present. While hooking up with each other, of course, friends and other people are drinking, dancing and having fun with the fact that a fictional comet is about to hit the earth.
The name of this video game is Tinder’s Swipe Night and it has a slightly different presentation in which you can choose your own format that will be live on the app. Every Sunday from 6 pm to midnight, the game can be found live on the app accessible through a button that says “start now.” It will direct the player to a news report about a falling object that is heading directly to Earth.
The game itself starts with the player being always the main character, going to pick up Molly, a friend. During the game, some decisions will have to be faced, like giving compliments or insults to a friend or possible dates, just like Tinder, any decision is faced will be done through swiping left or right. Everything that is decided in the course of the game will take an effect on the future, only a few seconds are given to make these decisions in this five-minute video.
With a game more entertaining than expected according to the critics, Tinder seemed to put a lot of work into developing this game and the story in general. Great modern music is included, and it becomes an immersive experience with the camera movements and the face-to-face focus that provides a real experience.
