Poker grinder Raymond Davis claims innocence in child sex case
Davis has already been locked for alleged solicitation if, and relations with, a minor
A poker player is currently in prison facing several charges. Apparently, they originated from some accusations of sexual aggression against minors. Raymond Davis is 52 years old and is well-known for being the founder of the poker group RealGrinders which has more than 18,000 members. At this moment he is spending time in Las Vegas jail waiting for a resolution on his case though strongly claims his innocence and denies all charges.
One of the charges is from a few years ago in which he is being accused of meeting some girl on Facebook, an underage girl, and inviting her to his house and paying her to perform oral sex on him. According to a friend, he also would pay her to take a shower with him just for the enjoyment.
An investigative team from a local news station, 8NewsNow, got an interview with Davis in prison. “I have never, never in my life, paid a girl, underage woman, girl for sex,” said Davis. While in the interview, Davis does admit that he visited massage facilities and that he picked up women on Craigslist, but none of them were minors.
Even though a warrant was issued for him since September 2016, he was not arrested until this year.. “They never made an effort to come to my house,” said Davis, “They never came to my store. I’m very high profile; anybody, a 10-year-old Boy Scout can find me.” He now claims that if he was such a monster based on the accusations, he should have been in prison a long time ago; however, the warrant was sent to The Criminal Apprehension Team a month later after it was issued.
