New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees finds his doppelganger close to home
Everyone has one, and Brees found his watching him from the stands of a game
During the New Orleans Saints game against the Arizona Cardinals, attention was driven to the stands, even though the Saints were smashing 31-9, after spotting someone familiar from the booths. A man was seen by the camera that looks exactly like Drew Brees including his birthmark. Brees found his doppelganger, and he’s been hanging around close to home this whole time.
The broadcast during the game divided the screen to show their viewers at home, their leader being in two places at once. ”Wait, how can Drew Brees be on the field AND in the stands at the same time?” posted CBS on their social media, along with a picture of both screens in comparison.
This was probably some exciting news for Brees, since he contacted his look-alike to meet him last Tuesday. His name is Jeremy Hohle and he’s from Lafayette. He posted a video on Facebook explaining that he attempted to boost his look by drawing Brees’ birthmark with a marker. ”Met my ”look-a-like” in Lafayette yesterday! Not a bad resemblance! Ha,” posted Brees on social media, adding, “Man that is so funny.’”
According to Hohle, he has been listening over and over for the last ten years that he has a remarkable resemblance to the Quarterback for his team. “I’ve gotten it so much I thought ‘Man if he just sees me, he’s gonna freak out.’” said Hohle. After last Sunday’s game, Hohle’s wife confirmed his dream came to a reality, sending him all the screenshots of his appearance on the media.
Brees joked in the media and took a selfie with Hohle and called him his ”long lost cousin.” Meeting Brees was for sure a great dream that came true.
