Danny Dimes – Streak Ender? Dallas Cowboys vs NY Giants Betting Breakdown
Football fans will finally get a respite from the Monday night snooze-fests of the past couple of weeks when America’s team – the Dallas Cowboys – travel to New York for a date with Daniel Jones and the Giants in a key division battle that could have huge playoff implications, at least for one team. The Cowboys, who hold a slim half-game lead on the Eagles in the race for the division title, will be looking to effectively end the Giants’ season and already paper-thin playoff hopes. The Giants, who have lost 4 consecutive games, will once again be looking for QB Danny Dimes to right the ship and prolong the playoff sweat for at least one more week, while somehow improving his bottom-third QB Rating against the 7th ranked Cowboys defense.
Speaking of the Cowboys, QB Dak Prescott is likely licking his chops in anticipation of facing a Giants defense that’s given up the 6th most points per game and a secondary that’s surrendered the 3rd most yards per pass attempt in the league, barely ahead of the dumpster fires that are the Miami Dolphins and Cincinnati Bengals. And as if that’s not bad enough, NY also holds the 4th lowest turnover margin, an issue that could pose a major problem against a Cowboys offense that’s putting up the 6th most points per game in the NFL.
So as much as Giants fans would love to beat their hated division rivals, I expect the Cowboys to have their way throughout this Monday Night tilt, particularly against New York’s porous secondary en route to their 6th consecutive victory between these two teams.
