With $10, you can create your own crypto
You don’t need a lot of fancy equipment to launch a cryptocurrency
You know the cryptocurrency space has come a long way when everyday users can make their own. Just like many other industries before it, the digital currency space has advanced enough – and more rapidly than others – that users now have the ability to create their very own digital currency. Thanks to Beyond Horizon, it can be done for as little as $10.
Beyond Horizon is a social network platform for crypto. It has launched a global minting service on Fivver for crypto fans, giving them the option to introduce their own digital currency easily and rapidly. While it may seem to be a complicated process, it’s actually straightforward and only requires some basic information.
To mint a digital currency with Beyond Horizon, a user only needs to name the token, give it a description, provide a logo, allocate the circulating supply and include a delivery address. The reasons for creating one are many – game tokens, name cards, artwork, tokens of appreciation and much more. At $10, there really isn’t much reason not to launch one.
The tokens created are backed by another digital currency, Enjin. As such, they are ERC-1115 compatible, just like 40 other blockchain-based gaming and application platforms.
The personalized tokens won’t ever see the growth experienced by Bitcoin and other top coins, and users shouldn’t expect to try to launch an initial coin offering (ICO) or some other mechanism to try to legitimize the token, but they still have tangible value that makes them worthwhile. At the very least, they’re a great conversation starter and means for spreading more crypto adoption.
