Sunday Recap: Another gigantic day at Americas Cardroom
Yesterday was one of those gigantic days here at Americas Cardroom. If you weren’t online, you missed out on a $1 Million tourney and other supersized events.
The $1,000,000 GTD was the Main Event of the Online Super Series (OSS) which ended yesterday. It’s the second part of the $13 Million OSS Cub3d, with the high roller Bigger Online Super Series now underway.
The Main Event final prize pool yesterday was $1,176,500 with 2,353 total entrants paying the $540 buy-in. Top:3

Our Hold’em Sunday Special was bumped up to a special $250,000 GTD yesterday as part of the OSS. It still beat the guarantee with 1,543 players ($200+15 buy-in) resulting in a $308,600 final prize pool. Top 3:

8-Max Warm-up also beats bigger guarantee
Our 8-Max Warm-up also had a bigger guarantee ($250,000) as part of the OSS. The final prize was $330,000 with 3,300 total entrants ponying up the $109 buy-in. Top 3:

Our $200,000 GTD tournament with a $1,050 buy-in had 280 entrants yesterday. That resulted in a $280,000 prize pool. Top three:

Beast and Sit & Crush Cage Live Satellite
We had other one of our Cage Live events this weekend in Costa Rica. Actor/comedian Norm Macdonald was there, although he did not leave with any money. WPN CEO Phil Nagy had the most amount of cash ($35,850) when time expired, with 10 total players leaving with more than their $5,250 buy-in.
