PUBG World Cup could be dominated by Team USA
Nations are going to face off in open battlefield competition in the upcoming tournament
Player Unknown’s Battleground (PUBG) is about to launch the summer season. There will be plenty of eSports competitions and one is going to prove to be particularly exciting as nations are pitted against other nations to see who will rule the world. The PUBG Nations Cup is coming and, of all the teams involved, the US team is looking like it’s going to once again reign supreme.
There will be a total of 16 teams involved in the tournament, which will be held in Seoul, South Korea August 9-11. The event features a prize pool of $500,000 and the team representing USA is poised to take the victory. Two players on the squad have been with Tempo Storm, which has back-to-back wins in the National PUBG League, and two are from Spacestation Gaming. The latter is a top-five team and, between both, the US PUBG team has some serious talent. Additionally, Michael “Jabroni” Cecere of Ghost Gaming will lead the team as its coach.
Mike “Sharky” Gariti and Logan “Zanpah” Heckman are the two coming in from Tempo and Ian “Bahawaka” Crowe and Keane “Valliate” Alonso are the duo joining from Spacestation. All four are expert PUBG players and will certainly be ready to bring home the victory.
Of the 16 teams to participate, there are also squads from Russia, Canada, the UK, Australia, Argentina, China, Thailand and South Korea. The top four finishers all take home prize money, which means a lot of players are going to walk away empty-handed.
