April’s hot video game releases
It’s no April Fool’s joke – a lot of video game excitement is coming this month
It looks like April is going to be an incredible month for video game releases. There are titles to be released almost every day of the month and options are on tap for gamers of all consoles. While many high-profile releases won’t be coming until later this year, April is still going to see quite a bit of action in the indie and remaster segments. Here are just some of the titles expected this month.
This Wednesday, Cryofall, Borderlands, Bow to Blood and HyperParasite are going to be released. Cryofall and HyperParasite are being offered as early access releases for Steam for PC only, while Borderlands will be available for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox. Bow to Blood is coming to all three, as well as the Nintendo Switch.
On April 16, Final Fantasy 10 & 10-2 High-Def Remaster is coming to Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. That same day, World War Z will be available for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and Ghost Giant is coming to the PlayStation VR.
On April 18, get ready for Katana Zero and Arcade Classics Anniversary Collection, among others. Katana will be available for PC and Switch users and Arcade Classics is coming to PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Switch.
Mortal Kombat 11 is due out on April 23, available for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Switch. Dragon’s Dogma will be distributed on April 23, as well, for Switch fan.
Final Fantasy fans will have to wait until the end of the month for the next edition of the popular game. Final Fantasy 12: The Zodiac Age is coming to Xbox One and Switch on April 30.
There are several titles expected to be released this month that still don’t have definitive dates. Among these are Super Crate Box, Golem Gate and Power Rangers.
