Xbox Game Pass adds 2 titles, but to remove 4 others
Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom and Just Cause 3 are in for Game Pass subscribers
Microsoft has decided that the video game list offered to Game Pass subscribers needed to see more variety, so it added two new titles today. Xbox fans who have purchased subscriptions can now download and play both Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and Just Cause 3, an open-world action game. While the move gives video gamers two new titles to choose from, four more are about to be pulled from the platform.
According to the dashboard for the Xbox Game Pass, under the “Leaving Soon” category, The Division, Letter Quest Remastered, Riptide GP: Renegade and The Escapist: The Walking Dead will not be around for much longer. Exactly when the titles will be pulled wasn’t revealed, so any fans of those games who haven’t already done so should download them as soon as possible.
Also this month, Xbox included a few other titles to Game Pass. These include Life is Strange 2: Episode 1 and Ark: Survival Evolved, Farming Simulator 17, which were added on January 3, and Absolver, which popped up on January 7. Today, the 3v3 shooter game Aftercharge will go live on the platform.
The Game Pass is a good deal for Xbox console gamers. It costs $1 for the first month and only $10 for each subsequent month. It is only available for the Xbox 1, but Phil Spencer, who leads the gaming division for Microsoft, has said that it could be rolled out to other devices in the future. Currently, the Game Pass library has over 100 Xbox One and Xbox 360 titles.
