Seminole Rock 'N' Roll Poker Open Includes Over $3M in Guarantees
The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida is gearing up to host its next major World Poker Tour event: the Rock 'N' Roll Poker Open. The tournament action runs November 14-18, starting with the $1 million guaranteed $360 Deep Stack tournament.
The marquee event of the series is the $2 million guaranteed $3,500 World Poker Tour Championship. The final table of the WPT Championship is scheduled for November 28 and will broadcast live on Fox Sports.
The 2018 Rock 'N' Roll Poker Open series includes a total of 19 primary events. There are also 40 satellite events offering a plethora of opportunities for skilled players to win their seats in the series' bigger tournaments for a fraction of the buy-in price.
Among the primary schedule of events, there is a $250,000 guaranteed Deep Stack event with a $570 buy-in; a $250,000 guaranteed Eight-Handed NLH event with a $5,000 buy-in, and a $100,000 guaranteed event with a $1,100 buy-in.
In 2016, the Rock 'N' Roll Poker Open made Florida history when its opening event drew over 5,000 entries. This year, the Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood is offering an online contest to allow players to win a $3,500 seat in the WPT championship.
The competition is open to any player who enters a tournament at the property during the series. The winner will also receive a platinum pass to the 2019 PokerStars Players No Limite Hold'em Championship. Poker players who register for the events in the series are also eligible for special rates at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel.
